Richard Madison is a native New Yorker and holds degrees from the City College of New York (Bachelor of Science), St. John's University (Master of Business Administration), and Fordham University School of Law (Juris Doctor).
He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, The American Immigration Lawyers Association, and The Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He has been a member of the immigration committees of two bar associations.
Richard Madison is the author of The Greencard Book published by Visa Publishing Company. The book has sold several thousand copies and has been used by libraries, lawyers, and by schools as an introduction to Immigration law. The book is now out of print although it is still in the collection of some libraries in the US (under number 325.1M or the LC classification.)
In addition to immigration, Richard Madison has also acted as attorney for matters involving bankruptcy, real estate, corporations, criminal, divorce, domestic relations, and other areas.
Richard Madison has been an Adjunct Professor at New York University, has been on the corporate planning staff of Mobil Corporation and was with the Honeywell Corporation for several years. He served in the US military as an intelligence officer with the rank of Captain.
